Partition Manager Server Infrastructure Module – added efficiency to make complex IT environments easier to manage. These wizards help simplify your work flow:

 

• Scheduler: You can combine different tasks into one operation and schedule it to fit your routine. You can schedule any operation and automate routine tasks.

 

• Script Generator: Combining multiple operations in a reusable script is easy to do with the built-in wizard. The script implements the task automatically, either to a specific computer or to a centralized group of computers. Paragon‘s script engine supports all operations in the interactive mode and also offers supplementary operations such as conditional execution, subroutines, iterations, analyses of hard disks and partition attributes, identification and removal of system errors, etc. With the script engine the efficiency of server and workstation maintenance is significantly improved.

 

• Paragon PXE Server (DHCP- and TFTP-Server): With this functionality you can start a PXE compatible client computer without its own operating system installed. This requires the client computer to be connected to the network to receive a network address from the DHCP Server and subsequently download a self-extracting NBP (Network Bootstrap Program) from the TFTP Server. This feature eliminates the need to have separate boot medium for each and every client computer.

 

• Useful tools to create a customized bootable image based on WinPE 2.1 or Linux: The bootable image contains the main program with auxiliary functions to configure a network, mount network shares, start the execution of a script and add any desired files. This image can be burned to CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc to start a client computer directly or remotely controlled through the capabilities of PXE, allowing complete operations to be executed in an unattended mode.

  

 

Partition Manager Server Infrastructure Module includes the following:

 

The extension module (delivered in MSI format as an update to the main program) contains:

• the Scheduler, for automating routine operations (set dates for periodical operations to be executed automatically)
• the Script Generator, to create scripts for complex operations executed in an unattended mode

 

This module is provided only if these functions are not part of the main product.

The network module (also delivered in MSI format) contains:

• the Boot Media Builder, to create customized boot images and boot discs
• the Paragon PXE Server (DHCP and TFTP server), to boot compatible computers remotely

 

The WinPE Customization Package (a self-extracting archive):

The WinPE Customization Package helps with the creation of WinPE 2.1 based images.
