The Hitachi GPT Disk Manager works with 32bit and 64bit Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. Not required for Mac OS or Linux users.
The Hitachi GPT Disk Manager for Hitachi Deskstar 3.5" internal hard drives does not support RAID configurations and the resulting hard disk drive cannot be used as a boot drive.
