Copy partition

Paragon Partition Manager includes the Copy Partition Wizard, which can be used either for cloning partitions of any file system or for making backup copies of working partitions. You can copy partitions to protect yourself from downtime in the case of a system malfunction. The partition can be copied back to the original place within a few minutes or can be used simply for copying separate files.

The Copy Partition Wizard duplicates all usable partition data including files, the exact structure of directories and file system metadata: location of files, security information, access quotas and so on. Paragon Partition Manager allows copying partitions only to blocks of free space.

The copying of complete hard disks can be accomplished with the Copy Hard Disk Wizard. Partition Manager provides the ability to clone hard disks of any file system. During the hard disk copying process, the program copies the controlling records of the partitioning scheme, the bootstrap code and on-disk partitions.
