About PSG’s Marketing Funds Program
& Marketing Fund Guidelines

PSG has designed the Marketing Funds Program to help you grow your business and mutually develop the market for PSG solutions in your territory. The program enables you to work with your PSG Marketing representative to plan, develop and execute marketing activities using marketing funds. These marketing activities should focus on increasing the reach of PSG’s solutions in your defined marketplace.


 

This document describes the guidelines and processes that we have defined to ensure the marketing funds are wisely allocated and spent.

 

Important: The Marketing Fund Program is intended to be a two-way street. PSG expects you to match PSG’s Marketing Funds contribution with your own funds, especially in activities where the companies’ brands are promoted equally. The Alliance Partner contribution will be a criterion in PSG’s approval of these activities. All resulting materials and information on potential opportunities must be shared with PSG, where PSG has funded the activity. All requests must be submitted a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the planned activity date.

 

The following are examples of approved uses of Marketing Funds. We encourage creative, effective marketing initiatives! Please keep in mind that all activities requiring Marketing Funds must be approved by PSG in writing prior to commitment, according to the outlined Marketing Funds approval process.

  • Events ( conferences, seminars, webinars, training, trade shows, etc.)
  • Direct Mail / Email Campaigns
  • Sales Incentives
  • Online Newsletters & Sponsorship
  • Marketing Collateral / Localization
  • PR- Placements, Reviews, Awards
  • White Papers
  •  Your Ideas

 

How It Works


The PSG Marketing Funds program consists of a “bank” of regional funds that are available to the Authorized Alliance partners and to PSG Distributors. These funds are accrued by PSG on all sales fulfilled through authorized PSG Distributors.

PSG will review all submitted marketing fund requests and approve the ones that best embody the PSG strategy and message.

This is a reimbursement model. Activities are pre-approved based on a specific budget, and measurable success criteria. Marketing Funds will be reimbursed quarterly, once the activity has been completed and according to the agreed plan. PSG may require copies of invoices in order to audit actual expenses.

 

Marketing Funds Approval Process


PSG Security Advisors will fill out the online request form on www.PSG.com/partners. The request will be sent to the PSG’s Marketing Department and appropriate PSG sales representative. Within 72 hours your request will be approved or denied via email. If your request is approved you will be contacted by your assigned PSG Territory Manager to discuss your marketing event in greater detail.

Marketing Funds approved activities must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. They must have a PSG focus – relevant to the sale of PSG Software.
2. All marketing activities must adhere to the PSG marketing style guidelines.
3. The PSG Alliance partner should match PSG contribution in funds or commensurate resources.
4. Activities will focus on the following:

  • Lead generation campaigns
  • Provide sales incentives to individual resellers and sales personnel
  • Creation of greater brand awareness for PSG in the territory
  • Localization of PSG collateral

Once the activity has been completed PSG’s Finance Department will issue a credit note in the amount of the Marketing Funds reimbursement, to be offset against future purchases made by the PSG Alliance Partner.
